The service is very organised, it was made clear how regular the midwife appointments would be and what would be involved. Polite friendly staff, all questions answered and nothing was awkward.

I was booked in for a home birth but unfortunately the midwife that was sent out to me did not want to go ahead as the notes didn't explicitly say I 'could'. My contractions went from every 3 minutes before the midwife to every 6 minutes while I tried to argue my case for having a home birth. I had a successful home birth with my first child but sadly ended up being transferred to hospital for my second. Whilst I appreciate there are situations where this is necessary I feel I only had to do this as the midwife didn't want to be with me.

Kim Tyler, our Community Midwife, was exceptional in carrying out her duties. She went above and beyond and we felt very privileged to have her as our midwife. She deserves a commendation for her hard work and dedication to the women and families in her care.

We felt very reassured that everything was going. well. We all felt very cared for by the kind and considerate staff. A bit more guidance about her to make the journey in world have been helpful. Was good to have many different voices of different midwifes during on stay.

Sue (midwife) has been very supportive and through and very patient with me. No improvement required. All other midwives I have met have been very kind and helpful throughout my pregnancy. How feel at ease and know that I am not alone. Thank you.
